Snow Ride

We left Charlotte {and 78 degree weather} around 4PM on Friday and we were welcomed to Syracuse in near whiteout conditions around 3AM Saturday morning.  Temperatures hovered below freezing, but we had to embrace the blanket of snow that fell {after we crawled out from beneath warm blankets inside} all day.  Andrew bought Alekzander his first "sled" and the conditions were perfect for snow rides in the inner-tube.

 Our little southern city mouse loved being a snow bunny!

Hockey Rules

 ... according to a one year old ...

1.  When the crowd roars when a goal is scored, after the initial shock, clap your hands.

2.  Clap your hands louder and harder when everyone else is cheering because of a fight.

3.  Eat a lot of snacks.  Ice cream, pretzels, cotton candy ... or Cheerios and MumMums are quite tasty too.

4.  Flirt with cute little girls in the row behind you.

5.  Sign "Please, Please, Please" to the bartender because you want him to put something in your cup.

6.  Dance to the music between plays.

7.  Kiss your Mama during "Kiss Cam".

Hunk

This little hunk (gnawing on a hunk of meat) hopes that you have a great Valentine's day.

Alekzander found his way deeper into Gruffalo's heart as he devoured some spare ribs!  

He nearly ate his daddy's share as I sat and watched {and laughed at} my little carnivore. 

Over the Moon

 

Alekzander love, love, loves being outside.  

I love letting him run around and play in the dirt.

{Playing may equal eating but God made dirt and dirt don't hurt ... right?!}

While swinging up to the moon and back again, 

he was smiling so wide, I could see his upper left molar ... 

with a black piece of mulch in the groove of his tiny tooth.  {Yum?!}

He laughed and laughed.  And walked and walked.  And chatted up a storm.

An independent little explorer who just happens to be love, love, loved.

Over the moon loved.
