Knights Uptown

Courtesy of ATB and Uncle Ryan,
from 11 stories up,
we were able to be part of Charlotte history
and witness the first Charlotte Knights game
played in the new BB&T stadium uptown.
{Tickets were sold out months before!}

From our perch we got to hear the national anthem,
and collective Queen city cheers,
and we got to see the first pitch thrown out
as well as see the Knights hit the first home run in their new home.

Goats Go Up

We visited our friend's urban farm today
and met these goats that were pretty awesome and cute.
I was sure Alekzander would love them,
but he was a little overwhelmed by the goat love he received!

More than a Fort

These two brothers enjoyed a few moments together
in the dog house-bear cave-pirate ship-brother fort.

After Anderson crawled out,
Alekzander spent hours crawling in and out,
building and rebuilding, hiding and pretending!

Bruiser

Tough kiddo.
I'd like to say, "You should see the other guy!"
but all of these bruises were self-inflicted accidents.
I forgot how dangerous crawling can be.

Bruise number 1 on his right cheek was obtained
by watching birds through the back door.
A quick slap of the glass window to get leverage for a higher vantage point,
a quick slip and face plant into the window frame.

Two and three are fresh from a play date tonight.
Again self-inflicted baby bobble.
Sitting and playing happily one minute,
toppled over onto a train track on the next.

Number 4 :: recurrent eczema type rash
from mystery food item.

Poor baby.
Thankfully he isn't bothered by any of these bruises!
He is just busy and always ready for a new adventure.

Sharing

These kiddos - without a doubt - are the apples of my eye.
It seems impossible that I can love them more and more each day.
Then something like this unfolds and my heart grows bigger
as their love for one another grows.

Silly big brother teasing Anderson.

Alekzander was enjoying it, but Anderson was none too pleased.

 ...Until this happened.

 Sharing is caring
{even if for just a bite or two}!
