A Neigh Sleigh Ride

 

Liked the toy elf he received from Santa.  Loved Santa's "sleigh."

By association, you'd think Alekzander would

like the jolly, big guy in the red suit...

 Santa was a bust, but the sleigh ride with the BIG "neighs" was a big hit!

Adventures are always better with your best bud.

Candy Canes and Cuteness

Trouble...  

I was feeling a little crazy and gave Alekzander 

the hook of the candy cane... 

only a bite or two got consumed... 

but there is a reason we don't "do sugar" for this two year old!

 He was still sweet ... and extra sneaky ... 

and proudly picked and presented me with a pretty flower.

An Encounter with Santa

This picture is worth a thousand {unhappy} words.

People told me I will treasure this picture one day.

I cherish it already.

My sweet, big boy, conqueror of his little world,

just does not love Santa this year.

He had it made up in his mind before we even left the house...

"NO Santa!"

We even tried again with Daddy's brave neck to hug and a little peer pressure from his buddy Oliver, but a high-five was as good as it got.

Seasons Confused

Within the last few weeks, we've had 75 degree days and 33 degree mornings.  

Our tree has still not lost all of its leaves; the grass is still green, 

yet Christmas is just about 2 weeks away.  

We're not complaining, but it is a little confusing!
