Halloween Business

Such a sweet group of kiddos ... 

most of whom got left in the dust by three excited little boys.

Mailmen are always on the move!

Carter (Spider Man), Allen (Darth Vader), 

and Alekzander (Mr. Mailman)

were all business.  

These three ran through yards, 

up driveways, and down sidewalks.

They were efficient and polite.  

"Trick or Treat!"  

"I'm a mailman"  

"Thank you!"

The excitement of the night was definitely contagious.

My {poor, deprived} child had hardly even eaten candy prior to last night, 

but he sure did like collecting it!

The little boy crew, full of sugar and energy,

made it three whole streets

{over half a mile}

with no complaints.

Luckily Mr. Mailman had a cool ride 

on the way back because as soon as it got dark

and all the houses on our route had been hit,

the walk seemed a bit longer and the air a bit colder. 

If Alekzander's mailman gig doesn't work out,

he and his friends could run a successful

candy collecting business for sure!
