It may have appeared that today's lesson
was strictly about playing with dump trucks.
Big brother is a master player.
The biggest imagination you have ever seen.
But after closer observation, the focus of the lesson
was kindness, patience, intentionality.
It only lasted a few minutes, but my mommy heart soared.
No one has ever taught Alekzander how to be a good big brother,
but this kid has the biggest heart.
He is gentle, kind, patient.
He shares his toys, makes his brother laugh,
teaches him the important facts of life.
Playing with dump trucks is pretty important.
But being and having a good role model, a best friend, and a protector
is even more important.
