Nine months on Tax Day 2014

Life is getting so much richer

with this mischievous little mister.

From attempting to climb the stairs,

to standing in his crib and the bathtub,

to dropping toy after toy after toy from his high chair,

this kiddo is busy and fun.

He wants to be wherever we are - 

and can get there with a coordinated 3-limb crawl ... fast ...

usually with a ball in one hand.

"Baal" may be his first legitimate word or, 

at the very least, currently his favorite sound.

Raspberries are blown often, and love bites occur frequently.

Anderson makes our lives so full.

He has all of us wrapped around his little fingers...

Each morning or after every nap,

Alekzander always takes tabs on Anderson's position

and he loves to visit Anderson's room

to comfort him and shove toys into his crib!

Alekzander watches the "re-monitor" for movement or sound

and alerts us when it is time to go get Anderson

in order to commence a game of crawl-chase-hide & go seek.

Daddy jumps, dances, and fake sneezes

until he is exhausted ... and rewarded by delicious baby belly laughs.

And I will hold, carry, nurse, and snuggle

to his {and my} heart's content!

Such a happy heart he has.

And such happy hearts we have because of him.
