Snowy Adventure

We suited up a second time to meet Daddy and Gruffalo in the snow.
The Mustang wouldn't make it up the quarter-mile hill,
so we raced down it to trek back up with the fearless football fans
and provision (boxed wine, rock salt, and various meats and crackers) providers.

Upon reaching the top of the driveway,
we encountered knee-deep snow ...

... explored the great, white abyss ...

... and engaged in a little snow fun ...

It wouldn't have been the end of the world
if we were snowed in at Mia & Gruffalo's,
but we made it safely back to a snow-less Charlotte
without {much} incident.

A reminder to myself ...
Cowboy boots do not make good mountain climbing, Christmas tree selecting, or snow shoes.

If Santa is reading this, he might want to bring me some
appropriate foot attire for the mountains
so Mia and Gruffalo will stop belly-laughing
at me sliding down the driveway
and falling into the snow covered ditch.
{{Luckily Andrew was carrying Alekzander down the hill to the car,
and warned me not to walk too closely behind them!}}

We can't wait for our next family adventure!
