Level

There is nothing better than getting down on Alekzander's level.  Getting out from behind the laptop, putting the broom back in the closet, stopping dinner preparations to literally sit down on the ground and play.  Yesterday we rolled a jingle bell ball back and forth.  It made him giggle as it hopped and bounced along the smooth tile and indented grout.  As he went to fetch the ball that rolled past him, he stopped directly behind me and wrapped his little arms around my neck and leaned his body against my back.  It was the sweetest thing; absolutely, positively worth sitting, stopping, and being in that moment with my favorite little guy.
