Cultivating Smiles

Yesterday while Andrew was planting tomato, cilantro, basil, and parsley plants, I sat and supervised.  Actually I sat basking in the sun and watched Alekzander play more than anything... but while Andrew was cultivating our summer crop of fruits and herbs, I realized that in each little activity that we do as a family, we are cultivating memories, values, and smiles.  In that sense, our crop runneth over...
